Flame Safeguard Controls for Burner Systems

Safe light off, supervised run cycle and safe shutdown are the three main jobs of a Flame Safeguard system. Understanding the principles of these controls unlocks service and trouble shooting on make-up air and other burner systems.  This course will cover the functionality and sequence of operation of specific components that make up a burner flame safeguard system.

In addition, this course will cover the Maxitrol Series 14 Selectra burner controls and how these controls are incorporated into a complete burner safeguard control system.

● Full function primary sequence

● Programming control sequence

● Basic troubleshooting

● Upgrades and Modernization

● Make-up Air modulation (Maxitrol and RTC)
