Bosch Inverter Duct Split (IDS) heat pump systems provide the ultimate in quiet and efficient home heating and cooling. During colder months, these air-to-air heat pumps extract heat from the outdoor air during colder months for heating, and extract heat from the air inside the home to expel it outside during warmer months for cooling.
This day-long training course will cover both the installation and diagnostic service of Bosch IDS Heat Pumps and is divided into the following sections:
Bosch IDS Light & Premium Intro & install (2hrs): The Bosch IDS Light 15 SEER System is the first inverter condenser to combine premium inverter technology with standard efficiency. It is available in 24k, 36k and 60k BTU capacities. The IDS Premium 20 SEER System combines the top tier BOVA20 and BOVC20 outdoor units with the exceptional BVA20 two stage constant torque ECM style air handler.
Bosch IDS Ultra (Cold Climate Heat Pump) Intro & Install (2hrs): The Bosch IDS Ultra Heat Pump can provide reliable, energy efficient heating even in sub-zero temperatures. This cold climate heat pump can provide 100% heating down to an outdoor temperature of 5° F and will continue to initiate heating even down to -13° F.
Bosch IDS Diagnostics training (4hrs): This segment will cover troubleshooting and diagnostics of the various heat pump models.
