You study on your own, and when ready, make your own appointment to take the online test with a virtual proctor. Will need reliable internet, a computer with camera & microphone, in a clean, quiet space to test. If retesting, please show online proctor the results from your previous test. Students learn to identify and understand the operation of boiler components and hot water piping arrangements. Installation, service, and troubleshooting issues will also be covered. As part of this hands-on course, participants will assemble and wire a control module that incorporates thermostats, zone valves, and an aquastat relay.
